For a couple of decades, Internet services have been offering satellite images of the Earth in excellent quality, allowing you to see a forgotten ball on the lawn of someone else's house in Australia. The services of Google, Yahoo, Yandex-maps, in addition to aerial photography, take pictures from the common NASA database, and those from satellites, for example, WorldView-1. Its orbital height is 495 km and it perfectly photographs the smallest details through the layers of the atmosphere, flying at space speed around the planet.


Kaguya is a Japanese lunar satellite that flies at an altitude of 100 km from the Moon and is 1.5 times slower than earth satellites. In addition, there is no atmosphere on the Moon, so take it off - I don’t want to.


The public should have received high-resolution photographs of the entire satellite long ago, where you can see the smallest details, including the lunar module (there are at least 6 of them).
