A Japanese soldier tells a Chinese man how to stand properly so that he beautifully cuts off his head, 1938



It was considered a special chic to cut off the head in such a way that it hung on the skin of the neck, and the body, under the weight of the head, neatly fell into the grave previously dug by the murdered. The next victim was usually forced to fill the grave.
